# Changelog

## [0.3.0] - 2026-10-22

### Added
- "3D interpolation…" menu item: IDW interpolation of loaded TEM layer features into a voxel PointZ layer written to a GeoPackage. The interpolation dialog lets the user select input LineStringZ layers and optional DOI PointZ layers, define a 3D grid extent with cell sizes and a live derived cell-count preview, and control IDW parameters (power, log10 mode, horizontal and vertical search radii, per-sounding DOI clipping). The horizontal and vertical search radii define an anisotropic search ellipsoid (after GeoScene3D) that governs both which samples a voxel uses and how they are weighted, preserving the vertical layering of the soundings. Output voxels are styled with the resistivity color ramp and rendered as cubes in the 3D Map View.
- "Mean resistivity maps…" menu item: mean resistivity maps (middelmodstandskort) for fixed elevation intervals, written as one styled GeoTIFF per interval. For each sounding, the thickness-weighted log10 mean resistivity above the DOI is computed within the interval, and the values are gridded with IDW in log10 space, leaving cells beyond the search radius blank. The dialog sets the elevation range, interval thickness, cell size, search radius, IDW power, minimum neighbors, and minimum interval coverage.

### Fixed
- Use Open Sans instead of Apple Braille for the DOI marker so it renders on systems without Apple fonts.

## [0.2.2] - 2026-05-28

### Added
- Import option "Hide layers below depth of interest (DOI, 2D and 3D views)", ON by default, which clips resistivity layers to the DOI so geometry below the DOI is not written to the GeoPackage. Clipping is exact when the DOI falls inside a layer.

### Changed
- The DOI layer is now excluded from the Elevation Profile by default, matching the existing default for the points layer.
- Raised the layers 3D tiling max-chunk-features from 1000 to 50000 for faster 3D rendering on large datasets.

## [0.2.1] - 2026-05-23

### Fixed
- Apply the high-resistivity color for values above 1600 ohm*m to both layer styling and pre-computed layer colors

### Changed
- Add flake8 to local and CI verification

## [0.2.0] - 2026-05-16

### Added
- Optional DEM elevation adjustment during import using a selected project raster layer
- Import options dialog for DEM adjustment and DOI masking controls
- Layer opacity output for improved DOI-aware layer styling

### Changed
- Reordered import options so DOI masking controls appear before DEM controls

## [0.1.6] - 2026-05-10

### Added
- Workbench wide XYZ export support

### Changed
- Write outputs to GeoPackage layers instead of CSV for better performance on large datasets
- Create spatial indexes for output layers to improve map and profile responsiveness

## [0.1.5] - 2026-04-27

### Added
- 3D Map View rendering for points, DOI, and layers
- Pre-computed per-layer color from resistivity for 3D rendering

## [0.1.4] - 2026-04-23

### Added
- Support for SCI Workbench 2026 XYZ export format

## [0.1.3]

### Fixed
- Correct Windows layer file URIs
- Validate XYZ rows and continue batch imports on error

### Changed
- Set QGIS maximum version to 4.99
- Set homepage to blog post
